My 17 year old daughter tried Eau Flirt first. When she walked by me I was like, "WOW you smell good!" She left the house that day to "hang" with friends and when she came home I had asked her if anyone said anything about how she smelled. I'm Gonna Have To Go To The Zoo Soon To Be Weighed

Yikes! I have ugly feet! But that's not what this post is about. It is about that nasty red number there. I know you can see it, you can see it from miles away!

When I became pregnant 17 years ago, I was 117 lbs. Oohhhh those were the days! I was 20 years old and 117 lbs. This is NOT the "baby weight" that I am carrying around. I did manage to maintain a weight of 130 lbs. after my daughter was born and up to two years ago. I liked being 130 lbs.; I thought that was a good weight for my 5'2" self.

WHAT happened?? I hate to even say 180 lbs. I mean age is "just a number", but weight sure isn't. I live in t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants because NOTHING fits anymore! I avoid going places because of this. I have been on medication for over a year because my cholesterol is so high.

I definitely know that I am not as active as I used to be (damn you Twitter) and I do not eat healthy. The screwed up thing is I LOVE healthy food and awesome salads and I don't even use dressing on them! I love veggies, all of them. So what is the problem? Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. C'mon, admit it, it's so easy to just nuke a Hot Pocket!

Last night, I attended a Twitter party (if you are unfamiliar with that, you are missing out!) for the next Mamavation Mom. I was contemplating on trying out for it, but I was a big FAT chicken (kicking self in ass right now). Anyhoo, this Mamavation Mom thing is where it's at. I am now motivated to lose this weight! I am joining the follow at home program because I am determined to lose this weight and feel good about myself again.

By no means is this going to be easy, but changes must be made to my lifestyle NOW, life is too short ;) If you or anyone you know is struggling with losing weight (I feel like a commercial), please join me and we can all support one another. Giveaway & Review Make Ahead Meals For Busy Moms by Jane Doiron Cookbook (CLOSED)

Who doesn't love new recipes and cookbooks? I know I do! I am always looking for new recipes, but more importantly, recipes that are quick and easy to put together.

The author, Jane Doiron, knew what she was doing when she created this wonderful cookbook: Make Ahead Meals for Busy Moms. The recipes are perfect for freezing, assembling the night before, or for quick reheating.

The cookbook has 140 delicious recipes from the following categories:

Appetizers
Breakfast and Brunch
Dessert
Main Dishes
Side Dishes
Soup

There is also a Helpful Hints section and Measurement Equivalents. Very Handy!

The recipes are very easy to follow and do not have tons of ingredients that you would have to search for. I like that simple concept. Most recipes have what to do a day ahead and freezing instructions.

I first tried the Mini Meatloaves. I have tried many different Meatloaf recipes, but this one is definitely a keeper, my family loved it! Of course we needed a side dish, so I chose Chive and Onion Potato Casserole. Loved it! It was so easy to prepare and so very yummy to eat!

Jane knows busy! She is a mom of two boys and an elementary school teacher.

There are many more recipes that I will be trying and.....you have a chance to try them too!!!
